Grit bins during icy weather
Written by Administrator Friday, 03 December 2010 01:41
There are some grit bins around the village. These are provided by Hampshire County Council highways department to make the roads safe. If you find the bins are empty, please contact Hampshire Highways on 0845 6035633. There is nothing the Parish Council can do to help!
The grit bins are provided to keep the roads safe. They are not there for de-icing private driveways - that is an individual responsibility.
