The Parish Council provide the most local, third tier of local government. They are responsible for very localised services such as allotments, public toilets, parks and ponds, war memorials, and local halls and community centres.

All meetings are held alternate Tuesdays - in the Peel Park Pavilion to discuss plans received via EHDC in the previous fortnight. See parish notice board for confirmation of the agenda and date of the next meeting.

Meetings of the Parish Council normally take place on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Parishioners are welcome to attend.
The meetings are usually held in the Memorial Hall. However, the next few meetings are being held at St James Church hall. Meetings normally begin at 7.30pm, but this does depend on the business for the meeting. Please check with the Parish clerk if in doubt.
