Green Lane Development - Further Public Meeting
Written by Administrator Tuesday, 31 August 2010 18:53
At the public meeting held at Petersgate School on the 27th July, Clanfield Parish Council and villagers requested a postponement of any decision on this development pending answers to outstanding questions. We are pleased to advise that as a result of recent representations a further public meeting with EHDC Planners plus representatives from the Highways and Environment agencies, is being arranged for:-
Monday 20th September
at 19:00hrs.
in
Clanfield Memorial Hall
South Lane, Clanfield
This will be an opportunity for villagers and your Parish Council to ask questions relating to issues such as Flooding and Access that Planners were unable to answer at the previous meeting. It is understood that representatives for the developers will also be present.
Villagers will be aware that the Memorial Hall is currently the subject of major repairs and because it is the only hall in the immediate area large enough to hold the numbers expected, the Trustees have agreed to make it available as the venue. This will only be a temporary opening and the hall will still be the subject of substantial on-going repairs, prior to the planned re-opening for the Annual Remembrance Service. Your understanding of the impaired facilities would be appreciated.
