1st Clanfield Beaver Scouts (Woodland Colony) meet on Tuesdays 6pm to 7pm all at the new HQ
Beaver Scouts is designed for 6 to 8 year old boys and girls and meetings typically involve the children doing crafts, playing games and learning about themselves and other people. Additionally there are occasional parades, parties and picnics that are great fun and allow the Beavers to meet boys and girls from other Beaver Colonies in the district.
New Beavers are most welcome and can come along for a few weeks to ensure that they will enjoy what the Scouting movement has to offer before committing to buying any uniform or paying subscriptions. Very few ever turn back and often go on to be Cubs, Scouts, Explorers with some eventually become leaders themselves.
