Many of you will have received letters from the Post Office, consulting on the proposal to add "Clanfield" back into our postal address. To support the proposal, you need to take no action.

This is the culmination of an action from the Parish Plan, and is the result of a lot of effort by Parish Councillor David Newberry and the Parish Plan team.

The Parish council publishes a newsletter three times per year. it is printed and distributed to all houses in the Parish.

We really need new content for the newsletter! What we are looking for is:

  • Information about clubs and societies in the village, and any activities you have happening during the next few months;
  • Information about interesting events that have happened recently.

Articles need not be large - half a page of text including a photograph would be great. Please contact any Parish Council member if you have any material to offer!

The Parish Council provide the most local, third tier of local government. They are responsible for very localised services such as allotments, public toilets, parks and ponds, war memorials, and local halls and community centres.
