The County Archaeologist has been in contact with the Developer to arrange for Villagers to be briefed on the excavation findings.
The site visit will be between 8:00am & 3:00pm during the normal working week. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and he will send you full details as soon as soon as notification is received from the L-P Archaeology Site Manager in the New Year. Please remember the excavation area is effectively a working construction site so by its nature will be very uneven and muddy. You will therefore need to be sure-footed and wear suitable protective footwear and clothing. This invite extends to all Clanfield Villagers so please mention it to friends and neighbours. The invite, however, does not extend to those living outside the Village at the moment, as there are limitations on numbers for safety reasons.
